Career Description
Nursing provides a challenging yet rewarding vocation focused on the health and wellbeing of others. It is the science of professional caring and offers opportunities to promote and restore health, to prevent illness and to alleviate suffering. Nursing takes place wherever people are – in hospitals, in the community, in urban, rural and remote settings. The health care industry is ever changing and registered nurses are in high demand.
Career Prospects
Nursing graduates normally enjoy one of the highest employment rates in Australia given the rising demand for qualified nurses. As a graduate, you will be eligible to apply for registration as a nurse (RN) with the Queensland (or other states) Nursing Council.
