This program is designed to prepare you with the hairdressing industry knowledge, skills and standards necessary to work in the hairdressing field.

Description

With our fully equipped hairdressing salons, we offer you the ideal environment to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become a hairdresser.

On completion you will be eligible to be employed in the exciting career of hairdressing.

Course Resources

TAFE shirts, hairdressing kit and text books will be supplied. Students are required to wear closed-in shoes, and to dress neatly and appropriately as we operate as a functional salon.

All books and equipment to be brought in every day. At the commencement of each unit of study, the Institute supplies the following resources, where applicable:

This program builds upon the knowledge and skills acquired at Certificate III level to provide you with additional practical and supervisory skills that complement the hairdressing industry salon environment.

TAFE has four fully equipped hairdressing salons staffed by qualified and experienced teachers and offers the ideal environment to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to further develop your hairdressing abilities.
