KEY REQUIREMENTS

Accepted to study in Australia - Each and every course listed on "Study in Australia" has the appropriate registration and approval by Australian Commonwealth Government to provide education to Overseas Students. Australian Student Recruitment can assist you with acceptance and enrolment for the purpose of applying for a student visa in the future.

Financial Requirements - You must be able to financially support yourself (and your family members) during your study and stay in Australia. The evidentiary proof of financial support differs from country to country. People from some countries only have to sign a declaration which states they can support themselves however people from other countries must have to show sufficient funds from an acceptable source to cover their study and stay in Australia. Health insurance - You must have Overseas Student Health Cover while in Australia. During the process of assisting you with your student visa we can advise when it will be necessary to organise this. It can be organised with your enrolment into the college.

Character requirements - You and your family must be of good character

Academic and English Language requirements - Depending on what passport you hold and the course you wish to do you may need to show proof of your English language ability and also your previous academic history. This is not always required however it is important to allow us to assess your personal circumstances to advise you accordingly.

    • There is no upper age limit. If you genuinely wish to study you are never too old! You may study in Australia and can be granted a student visa.
  • MANY DIFFERENT COURSE AVAILABLE
    • You do not have to choose an overly academic course to study. There are hundreds of courses available: everything from Sports & Fitness courses, Surfing, Massage and Muay Thai, right through to trade based courses like Motor Mechanics and Bricklaying and also academic bachelors and masters degree programs like Nursing, Engineering and Accountancy.
  • A MIGRATION PATHWAY TO AUSTRALIA?
    • There are still general skilled migration pathways for overseas students who are studying in Australia. We cannot guarantee permanent residency because migration law and policy is constantly changing but we can confirm that it is still possible and we are assisting many overseas students apply for permanent residency today. Beware of agents who are providing assurances or guarantees of permanent residency included with your study plan. This is highly misleading.
  • WORK RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA?
    • Although your primary purpose for travelling to Australia is to study, you do have work rights with your student visa! Once you start your course, you and your partner will be allowed to work 20 hours per week. The main applicant who is studying will have unlimited work rights during designated school holidays. This provides an excellent opportunity to either earn some extra dollars or show off your skills in your profession to a prospective Australian business which could potentially sponsor you in the future.
