Partner and Family Visas

Family & Partner Migration

Migration is available for applicants who have a family relationship with their Australian relative. In most circumstances the success of a visa application under the family migration scheme is based upon the genuineness of your family relationship. All family migrants must be either sponsored or nominated by a close family member, partner or fiancé living in Australia.

Please choose from a visa category below as it applies to you to find out if you are eligible for an application to migrate to Australia.

Partner Migration

Are you the wife or husband or de-facto partner of an Australian Permanent Resident/Citizen (including those in a same sex relationship).

Prospective Marriage Visa

Are you the fiancé of an Australian Permanent Resident/Citizen that is currently overseas and are intending to marry within a 9 month period after you migrate.

Parent and Other Family Migration
