Impersonation Alert
It has come to our attention that fraudulent individuals are impersonating our company, our migration agents, and our business identity in an attempt to deceive unsuspecting people and obtain money through false claims.
These scammers are using fake websites, unofficial email addresses, and misusing our legitimate business name and phone number to appear credible.
What the Scammers Are Doing
- Contacting individuals - particularly in the Philippines - through LinkedIn and Facebook groups with false job offers and promises of sponsorship.
- Using the employer name "Australian Glass Group" to add legitimacy before directing victims to a fake "This Is Australia" representative for visa processing.
- Operating from fraudulent websites, including:
- thisisaustraliaau.com
- australiangovernmentau.com
- Sending messages from fake email addresses, such as:
- visainquiries @ thisisaustraliaau.com
- Requesting payments of AUD $250–$500 as a "deposit" or "visa processing fee."
- Misusing the name of our team members, and their MARN (migration agent registration numbers) and falsely claiming they are involved in these communications.
Referencing our official phone number (+61 07 5592 0755) to increase credibility.
Do NOT send money to anyone claiming to be from our company without confirming their identity through our official contact details. We will NEVER ask you to send money to a personal account.
